Here are a few of the most common questions we are asked.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS DO YOU ACCEPT?
The easiest and quickest way to pay is securely using debit or credit cards (Visa & Mastercard). Alternatively you can pay by bank transfer and cash with prior agreement.
DO I NEED TO PAY FOR HEATING / FUEL?
All electricity, oil and central heating is included. A starter pack of logs, kindling and fire lighters are provided. Additional logs can be purchased for £10 per bag.
ARE PETS ALLOWED
Up to a maximum of four well behaved dogs are welcome. No other pets are permitted on site. Dogs are permitted to sleep downstairs. They are not permitted upstairs in the Main house.
ARE BED LINEN AND TOWELS PROVIDED?
Yes, luxury bedding is used throughout the property.
Feel free to bring your own bedding, pillows or towels if you have a particular allergy or just prefer your own.
IS THE ACCOMMODATION SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH RESTRICTED MOBILITY?
In the most part, yes. There are 5 bedrooms on the ground floor. There is also a wet room on the ground floor which is ideal for those less mobile. The sitting / dining room and kitchen are all easily accessible in the house. As is the games room.
ARE BARBECUES PERMITTED?
Absolutely. There is a dedicated BBQ area. Don’t forget to bring your charcoal and chefs hat.
Beginning Mid 2024, there will also be a pizza oven for you to master your pizza making skills. Be warned, its not as easy as it looks but always great fun and a talking point.
IS THERE A COT / HIGHCHAIR?
There is a pop up cot and highchair available for children. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
DO YOU PROVIDE TOILETRIES?
Complementary shampoo and shower gel is provided in each bathroom.
WHAT TIME IS CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check in is from 4pm on the date of arrival. Don’t worry if you get delayed you can check in any time using the key safe for each property. Check out is 10am on the date of departure. Please ensure you stick to the timings to avoid a penalty charge.
IS THERE WIFI IN THE ACCOMMODATION?
Yes and we have a 1Gb connection. Actually, there is Wifi in all the accommodation and outside given the remoteness of Tyn y Berth, there is a very weak phone signal so stay connected with family and friends using WhatsApp, Facetime not forgetting posting your amazing get away on Instagram.
CAN I CHARGE MY EV?
We have a 7kw EV charger available to use for an additional cost of £0.50 pkwh. Granny/Trickle chargers (ie 3 pin plug) are not permitted anywhere on site. Alternatively there are many charging stations within a short drive of the property.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE PROPERTY
There is a plethora of parking, enough for about 18 cars in total. Please be courteous when parking and not to block any of our neighbours (not they are close by) or access to the farmers to their field on the right hand side of the property.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DAMAGE SOMETHING?
Accidents happen, we all know that. For example if you break a glass, simply tell us know and we can replace it. Should you damage the property in a serious way (ie where it needs to be resolved prior to the next guest) then you will be liable for the cost of make good.
DO I NEED TO CLEAN THE ACCOMMODATION BEFORE LEAVING?
When you arrive at the accommodation you should find it in a beautifully clean condition. All we ask is you leave in a similar condition as you found it (we are not asking you to deep clean before you leave). Please respect the bin rules and don’t mix rubbish.
